And my girlfriend broke up with me because the girl told
her. I want to get back with my girlfriend now but she has
been very standoffish. What should I say or do to resolve

What do you think of the fact that the other
girl told my girlfriend about it. This was not
necessary and is the real reasaon the
breakup happened. My girlfriend would not
have known about it otherwise.

When you decided to cheat on your girlfriend with this other girl, you took a risk on irreversible damage to your relationship with her. The hurt and the betrayal cheating can cause is something people that cheat fail to understand. Of course she is gonna be standoffish, you had betrayed her trust for you in the worst way. You have to look within yourself as to what made you not value the relationship with her that had caused you to cheat in the first place. I'd say you have some inner soul searching to do to try and resolve why it was you had taken the commitment with your girlfriend so lightly. Hopefully with time and effort on your part your girlfriend will be able to over come your betrayal of her and come to terms of believing in you once again. There is nothing you can say or do man. Its finished. Maybe this will serve as a lesson for the next woman you date. I'd suggest taking some time off and re-evaluating yourself. Concentrate on things like actually respecting a woman. Till you do that, your never going to have a fulfilling relationship with any woman.

keep on pleading her for forgiveness and promise her it will never happen again. and make sure you end the relationship with the other girl and let her know you no longer go out with her. tell her it was a mistake and devil work that she should try to understand, if she really love you she will come back to you, buy her the things you know she love most and always be around her tell her how much you need her around you. in fact just keep telling her sweet words she will come back i promise you. You could grovel in front of her and tell her that the other girl meant nothing to you...that she was just a fling that you had because your hormones were surging and that, to you, she was just another sperm receptacle...and that you wanted to be sure that your ex- was really good in bed so you compared her with the other girl. That should dazzle her and she will feel so relieved as she kicks you in the scrotum.

You cheated on her. You need to own up to that and appologize. She's acting "standoffish" because you betrayed her trust. The best you can do right now is give her room, appologize, show that you've truly changed, and hope she forgives you and takes you back. In my opinion, though, you don't deserve her.

Nothing you @$$ hole. You shouldn't have cheated on her. Thats what you get. Leave her alone. Even if you do manage to get her back she will never trust you again and that doesnt make for a good relationship.

You broke the trust in your relationship. Their isn't much you can do. She will decide if or when she is willing to give you another chance. But I wouldn't count on that being any time soon.

i hate to say this but my bf did the same thing and i gave him another chance so for not giving u another chance and not talking to you about it or about ever getting back together or whatever your girl is a *****! and you a jack *** sorry but that's how i feal about guys who cheat and gurls like that

If I were your girlfriend...I'd have kicked you in n_ _ _ s!!! (never mind the cold shoulder) It sounds like she has a lot more class than you'll ever dream of having
and the so called..."other woman" would be history in my life as well...
