It is always strength to forgive unfaithful girl, but this, of course, must be combined with a more mature attitude towards that girl.
It is not strength to continue as if nothing happened ... because something real really happened, and because that "as if" is not honest, and there is a real risk that that fiction sooner or later may bite hard in one's own chest.
Of course that girls pledge and loving attitude calling him "my love" and saying "I will do my best to make u happy and revive our sweet love" deserves affectionate consideration.
But one should try not to put at risk one's own pride and good mood thru just relying on promises.

forgiveness is a sign of strength, only when you are totally capable of getting even or revenge, revenge is like they say a dish that best served cold, so it feels good getting even, that's why it takes a lot of strength and character as sistablu said to forgive..

It is a strength to forgive ourselves for making the wrong choice in a partner.
It is self defeating to accept that behavior in a partner.
Don't continue on as if nothing happened. You will only become more and more angry and then it will turn inward and become what is commonly known as Depression.

it is def strength to forgive some one once they hurt u because you are being strong to sick with her and it takes alot to forgive someone!!! there is more in a man when they are able to forgive and forget, but... it is weakness if u let it happen again!!!! show her who's boss bt at da same time show her dat she doesnt want her ex, she wants you!!!!

I think it depends on how many times she has done it, if she did it once and is trully sorry and wont ever do it again, then maybe you should give her a chance..but if she does it again more than once..then dont she will be takin adavantage of your forgiving nature..so it all depends

Yes, it is weakness to forgive her for that, in my opinion. You couldn't fully trust her again, I would think.
