I've been knowing this boy for over 5 years now and we have grown to be very close friends. We talk , we visit. But for those years We have never dated but he has been married to his baby mother and throw out his marriage he has always been in connect with me. Now we are at that stage where we both played gamees with other people and now we both want to establish a serious connection between the both of us (serious dating/commitment). But I dont know, because if he did his wife like that, he could do me like that. So please help me out. Thank You.

I'll tell you why - real talk here.
He's been good at being your friend because that was the role that was defined for him in your life. That's why he's good at it.
Venturing for something more may not work out and you will lose that friend.
This is why you all have not been given the opportunity for 5 years.
I'd say continue to support him and vice versa....there's nothing wrong with that.
But, remember, you have only known him AS A FRIEND for 5 years. There's a whole other side of him - relationship-wise - that you have yet to find out.
This side may turn you off or clash with your values.
Tough call, but I say remain friends.

you are right on the fact that if he did his wife like that he would you. But however, if two people love each other so much. There should never be nothing to come between that. but there are alot of men in this world who love variety. The best advice i can share with you is that you stand your ground don't ever take less than you know you deserve.. First and foremost when involving in a marriage, the situation can sometimes get ugly. Don't jeopardize your hapiness if there is a chance he may not leave her for you. He did his baby's mother the way he did probably because he isn't in love with her. Makes a big difference. You've known him a long time - starting a relationship out when you are friends first is a good idea.
