I'm 25 and i got married last year without my mum's knowledge as she didnt permit our marriage. It's been a year now but she is still taking revenge over every single thing she can but not successful. I had to make that decision because i was being molested by her adopted son and she wasnt there for me to protect me. Now me & my husband planning to have a kid and I would like my mum to also join in hand in my journey. But she is so much fill with grudges and waiting to take revenge against me. Plz advice

how can you live in such a situation? she should have been there to protect you in the first place.
pls ask her to meet you on neutral ground, for instance, a restaurant and TALK to her. tell her tht u were being molested. WHY DIDNT YOU TELL THE POLICE?
probably, your mother didnt bring you up to have confidence in yourself.
if she is sensible and cares, try to patch up, if not, mother or no mother, forget her.

are u sure she tries to take revenge?
is the adopted son behind all this? DOES HE INHERIT PROPERTY FROM UR MOM?
if these people can only give u pain, AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.
get FINANCIALLY INDEPENDENT even b4 you have a baby. create an identity for urself.
try yoga or REIKI. calm yourselves. some websites give you FREE reiki.
stand on ur own feet, build up ur confidence so you can do the same for ur child. all the best, my friend.

Wow you have so many issues going on where to start? Not all Women are meant to be Mothers that is the sad fact. First of all you said that you are 25 that is more than old enough to make the decision to marry. It is not your Mother's choice at this point. 2nd of all you said that you were being molested by her adopted son if you live in the USA or England I would have to ask why you did not contact the authorities have the man charged with rape etc. Now with all of that said why would you want such a self centered controlling woman in your child's life. There are often many hard truths in life and that fact that you must choose what is for the best interest of your family cut off all ties with that woman. There are some things that you just can not change and making her a Mother is one of them!

how could she be revengeful whn she had let you down in the first place? have you told your mom what happened?
i have no idea what you should do, just don't surprise her with something big. take one step at a time to get closer to her again, not one big leap.

sometimes you just have to step back and learn to live without her,she will come around sooner or later.You could try talking it out,maybe you will feel better about things.Fill your life with good things and let go of those that are not. experience.

Please just you and her sit down and talk. I really hope that yall can come to great terms together. I lost my mom and I would give anything to get her back.
