Again with the dominance thing! People, jeez. There is not nearly enough info to determine that this dog is being dominant. Maybe the couch is just really comfy!!!!
Anyway, when you find her on furniture, tell her "Off," then lead her to her bed. When she is lying on her bed, either because you took her to it or she did it on her own, praise her. Allow her to have her favorite chew toy only when she is on her bed. Give her super yummy fabulous treats when she is on her bed, and only on her bed {she gets only super yummy treats the rest of the time :o)}. Reserve the absolute best stuff for when she is on her bed - she will soon think it's a pretty great place to be.
To prevent her from getting on furniture until she is fully trained, use milk crates, boxes, sisal door mats (prickly!) or anything else that is convenient for you. I used to place two kitchen chairs on their sides on our couch to keep the dog off. Prevent the inappropriate behavior, reward the appropriate one, and she should get it in a few weeks.

You are not the dominant one or she would respect you. Right now, it is a game to her and she doesn't see what you are doing as punishment.
What you need to do is the light punishment, what you are doing now, then if she goes back up- Scruff (pick her up if she is a puppy, but do not pick up an adult -just scruff) and say NO loudly and meanly while looking her in the eye. Usually that is enough. If it isn't, next time throw her off the couch forcefully while yelling at her.
The bitter sprays do not work for most dogs/cats/ferrets etc, plus can sometimes stain your furniture.

Ferocious black canines - like each dream symbols - can advise diverse issues to diverse cultures or perhaps diverse persons, in accordance to each and each values. so that you'll favor to guage that element. A usual element of desires, does notwithstanding exist: when we are in a wide wakeful state of wakeful, our rationality, defined because the skill to comprehend, is continually reading stimulii bombarding the actual body. those stimulii we interpret as sound, sight, scent etc. yet in a nap state of expertise, the body don't have the great factor about this college of interpretation. notwithstanding the body remains being bombarded by stimulii from the ambience. for instance, once you're napping by an open window and your body were given a drop or 2 from a rain drizzle, you would dream you're in a violent hurricane. So evaluate in case you would have heard or considered canines barking at the same time as you've been asleep, or regardless of in case you would have considered canines in the course of the days of the needs. Peace, nicely-wisher

It's natural for dogs to want to be with the "pack". Try putting a bed of her own next to your bed and when she jumps on the bed, pick her up and put her in her own bed and tell her "good girl!"

You are doing well by reinforcing her by telling her to get down.Next did you know you can buy a spray that is called "stay off" or "bitter apple" and there are others with similar names. There is something in it dogs don't like. She will not want to get back up on the furniture that you have sprayed. You won't really smell anything but she won't like it.You can buy it at pet stores or WalMart. This has worked for me and many other family members.Good luck.

besides putting her in another room with the door shut, I think u need to let her know she is not the "pack leader" anymore and in fact u are the boss. Chasnge ur demeanor and tone of voice and work with her for discipline. Have u ever watched the "Dog Whisperer?" Realy good show and he is a behavioral expert on dogs. he says let the dog know ur are in control--not by hurting the dog, but by having confidence and changing ur tone of voice and it won't take long to show the dog u are boss.

I love it when my dog hops on my bed. However I see where you're coming from. You could buy her a bed to let her sleep in. You could also every time she does this happen you could put her in her crate.
