The father of lies is the Devil because he spoke the first lie in the garden of Eden to Eve (Genesis 3:4). In fact Devil actually means slanderer, because he slandered (or lied) about God. Implying that God was holding back on humans (Genesis 3:5).
In contrast, Jesus always told the truth, and that is why he was like the light coming into the darkness.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him: “I am the way and the truth and the life.

Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life", he brings us into communion with God the Father, he speaks only what his Father says and upon believing this one passes Spiritually from death to life.
The anti-christ is any spirit which denies that Christ has walked in the flesh amongst us; by opposing Jehovah's plan of salvation a soul remains cut off from truth and is thus said to remain in the world of the Father of all lies.
