If it is compatible with Windows 2000 then it should work fine on Windows XP. If the game is older and it came out before Windows XP was released then that is the reason why it isn't listed. If for some reason it doesn't work, there are way to run program in what is called 'Compatibility Mode' where it acts like you have Windows 2000, 98, etc.

Hi dear
there is no way to play these games on Win xp coz some games r to designed for Winxp they are only compatible with win 98 win NT n win 2000.
the reason is.. the GUI(Graphical user Interface) of win Xp is too high for these games.. thats y its unable to start on winxp.try to buy the latest versions of such games..

Since you have Windows XP, click on Start, Programs, Accessories and find Compatibility Wizard. You might be able to make it compatible with XP.

Right mouse click on the Game Icon, after you install it..
Go to COMPATIBILITY, tick Run in compatibility for WINDOWS 98. Should work.

Yes, Right click the icon and choose properties, then set compatibility for Win 98, tada!

just make a right click on the game's '.exe' file and then click properties and then click on the compatibility tab and then check the settings i.e. click on the "run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select 'win98'

What game is it? There may be an update online that will let it play on XP

yes, install windows 98, or nt and get going...
You can definately make you system dual boot.

go to download.com and download a program caled dosbox. and try using it to run your game
