Try dressing a little more trendy.
Walk through the mall and take a look at how other women are dressing so you can get an idea of what works best for you.
Acting older? There's no such thing. There's maturity and immaturity.
Men LOVE women who act mature. You can take them in public, introduce them to family, etc.. without worrying about being embarrassed.
BOYS LOVE women who act immature. Enough said.

Go shopping and bring along one of your honest friends who is a little younger than you. then go to the make up section and ask for help/advice there on make up. As for the acting older, well, that's just who you are, I can be the same way sometimes, sometimes I am more mature than my 17 yr old friend and my ninth grader friend (i am 14 in eighth).

If that makes you feel bad, then change the way you dress. In the other hand, I don't see what is wrong with acting more mature than your age...I would say that is something to be really proud about.
