It seems like since I straightened it and also with the split ends I'm trying to fix (result of always brushing it wet or pulling it back wet, etc), it doesn't have the same thickness as years ago. Can I use Senna to strengthen & thicken, or is there something else ?
Thank you!

Senna couldn't hurt to try. I'm not sure of anything else over the counter, besides prenatal vitamins that help your hair grow in thicker and healthier.

I've never heard of Senna, but that doesn't mean much.

The condition known as split ends, technically known as trichoptilosis, occurs when the hair has been stressed too much and the stress frays the ends of the hairstrand. Common causes of trichoptilosis include damage from heat styling, bleaching, coloring, and use of inferior haircare products. Although some products claim to repair split ends, this just isn't true. The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut them off.
