No it isn't legal. In order to adopt a child, you have to have the financial means to support that child. There is no way that anyone can force something like this on anyone, no matter what the age.

Of course not. A 15 year old cannot legally adopt anyone.

I don't even think a 15 yr old can adopt a child.
There is a extreme process to go through when adopting a child...and there is no way a 15 yr old would be suitable to adopt.

The part that is strange here, is your word "forced"........Legally, you cannot adopt at 15. Many states will not even consider you at 18. Adoption is a long, emotionally grueling process (the wait). You also have to have the financial means to support an adoption, as well as a homestudy including criminal backround checks, and many more criteria to consider as well. Even at 18, there is not enough information on your character, maturity, financial means, etc., not to mention, emotional growth.
If you are concerned for this child, find a responsible adult to help you contact CPS.

Why would anyone want a child to raise a child especially if the 15 yr old doesnt want to? I can't imagine that anyone would give a teenager the privledge of adopting.

haha don't some of us wish. Well no, 18 years or older you have to be to adopt a child. So, there would be no way for you to be forced.
