No, dogs eat other dog's poo all the time. You just have to figure out why. It can be anything from a sign of boredom to malnutrition. Diagnosing why he did it is the tough part. The best thing to do is to pick up all the dog mess in the yard or park or wherever so that they don't have a chance to eat it.

no it's perfectly normal... dogs have very good digestive systems and if they are able to release unnecessary wastes the other dogs are interested b-cuz those wastes may b good 4 them...

Well if the dog is a puppy. It is something that they will do. You have to be firm with them and let them know that it is not a good thing to eat.
They as puppies don't know what it is and they think if it comes out. It should go right back in. They will most likely grow out of it.
On the other hand if your dogs are fully grown,
You will have to really watch them it might have been just a one time deal, but if not make sure to watch them close as this could make them sick. and again just be very firm with the dogs and let them know that it a bad thing to do.
If it becomes a habit there are pills that your vet can recommend for this.
Hope this helps

My vet in NC told me to put unflavored meat tenderizer on the food to stop the gobbling of the by product. Just sprinkle some on and stir.
It worked for my dog.

Try a ½ can of pumpkin pie filling with your dogs meal a day. I know it sounds strange but he is having a craving that the pumpkin filling will satisfy. Give it a few days but trust me. It worked for my 2 dogs.
