A few pounds fluctuation is quite a lot. I'd say up to 2 pounds is Ok.

Make sure you weigh yourself at the same time of the day. It is best to do it in the morning, before breakfast.

It's all about the amount of water you retain. If you're prone to bloating or water retention after eating certain foods, that will add weight. If you're dehydrated, you'll be lighter for the short term but that can make you retain water when you drink something.

It's nothing to worry about. The best thing to do is to weigh only once a week and make sure it's at the same time of day.

Also, drinking 2 litres of water a day helps beat the bloat.

The main reason is water weight can vary that much, often due to salt consumption and the amount of water/hydrating liquid in the body.

Here is what I think. It depends on how much and what you have eaten. it depends on how much physical activity you've done. It depends on (not to be gross) how often you poop. That's my unscientific theory.
