It's not very common for the military to reject a prospective recruit because of flat feet any more, but they may. Fallen arches aka flat feet, can cause problems with recruits during training or long marches. It seems stupid but a military person who can't stand, march or run for long periods at a time due to foot pain aren't much good in war time or peace time. So the answer is they can but don't very often.

I had flat feet when I joined the Navy in 1999. My recruiter fought hard to get me a waiver for my flat feet. I believe the reason he faught so hard and I got accepted is because I scored an 81 on my ASVAB test and was selected for the AECF program, therefore the recruiter gets more "points". If you are pretty bright and will benefit the recruiter more than the average recruit they will fight tooth and nail to get you in.

yeah they can disqualify you, because when your arch drops it feels like glass is cutting your feet it makes it pretty hard to march, run , or walk!!!! but it depends on where you go to MEPS and the doctor that looks at yor feet. They will look at them and then say, are you flat footed if a doctor never told you you were flat footed then your not!, doesn't matter what your feet look like... I know plenty of flat footed people who joined the military!

No.
Every individual counts and there are many fields of military expertise that can allow soldiers of flat foot to contribute. One can be in the combat service units like military police unit or the service unit like driver.

No. But, it will depend also in which State (Army Base) you will take your first Physical for entry in the Military. The US Army has no option but accept anyone at this point and time.
