About 3 years ago I began to smell fairly disguisting. I have great hygiene, showering twice a day, yet this does not seem to help me not smell.
I wake up smelling bad and have a shower to sort that out, but when i get warm and sweaty i begin to smell again, but this smell lasts through out the day and it is stopping me getting close to people. Please help!!

It is toxins being expelled from your system. Do you have other symptoms that may point to something going on in your body? Do your bowels smell foul as well, or have gas? Do you suffer acne or skin outbreaks, warts, skin tags, lumps, athlete's foot? Do you eat lots of sugar, white bread, junk food that would feed a candida yeast overgrowth in your gut? Do you lack energy in athletics? ...lets ache? ...head aches? j...bad breath?
Just curing your candida will probably eliminate any acne. At your young age it may be treatable with probiotics alone. Down-load a free book at www.thecandidayeastanswer.com .
Also, whatever we put on our skin has a tendency to absorb into our bodies; our lymph system and often into the blood. The main exits for toxins are the LUNGS (that's why we are congested when we awake in the morning and when we have a cold), the SKIN (that's the reason for rashes, pimples, smells, BO), via the COLON and URINARY tract.

If you're an adolescent, then it's normal. During adolescence some people will secrete more body oils and more of certain hormones than others. Your body will fall into its groove and it will probably slow down some. You maybe one of those people who has to be extra cautious about hygiene, but the intense increase in bodily secretions is probably temporary, depending on your age. If you're past adolescence, then have a blood test to check for uric acid and liver function. A doctor will be able to customize tests to check out any possible reasons.

"but when i get warm and sweaty i begin to smell again,"
You answered your own question. Some types of food that we eat can filter through our sweat glands, you may want to speak to your doctor for more information or treatment. Just in case it is not a serious problem.

Do you eat odiferous foods? Are you disgustingly overweight and prone to sweating in areas where air cannot circulate (like between rolls)? Do you take herbal treatments or medications or some combination thereof? It sounds as though you have decent hygiene, so its likely the result of something systemic.

My own observation is that people who eat a lot of meat tend to smell when they get sweaty, but I have to admit it's unconfirmed! Yet, you can try eating less meat if you are a big meat eater. Also eating lots of fresh fruit and drinking lots of water will help your body flush out toxins that may make your sweat smelly.

Well on Oprah the other day a girl had the same problem. The smell came out of the skin and Private Parts. I think you should contact your docter about that.

You should go to your doctor. It could be a chemical problem in your system. Some diabetics, for example, have a distinct odor that is not very pleasant. The fact that it started only three years ago also makes one wonder if it is not chemical. See your doc!

It could be your diet. Did you change anything that you can remember?? Do you eat alot of spicy or garlic foods? If so, try not eating that kind of food for awhile and see if it helps.

I wonder if you have a lot of body hair? Sometimes people with alot of body hair tend to smell. Make sure your clothes are always clean.
