Call them and ask what it is. It could be something you received free for a limited time and then you get charged for it after the free time is up.

The statement should say what the $19.99 was for. If it doesn't, call and ask.

Did you sign up for a card that charges an annual fee?

could be:

~a sign up fee
~annual membership fee (paid in advance)
~card fee (for the card you have)
paper bill fee (most company charge for paper billing/postage services. etc. i know that sucks)
~or maybe an enrollment charge for a certain program(rewards program) usually CC companies launch points earnignn program so the catch for card holders to use the points earned is to enroll into the program. and they charge.

bottom line, call them and ask for the complete detail.

Is it a purchase? If so, the name of the vender should be there..if it's a charge it could be a gazzilion things...
