I don't wany my first love back! That would be the last thing that I want. Why did you guys seperate in the first place then? Part of this little love rectangle missing here.

Well sad to say...you may never be together again. I had an ex my first love we dated for like 2 years, we broke up became great friends. I moved on and am in a going on 5 year relationship with 2 kids but if you ask either one of us if we never broke up back then would we still be together we both would say yes! Sometimes people in relationships just like in friendships grow apart...and they are just not as compatiable as they used to be...just give it time if it is meant to be it will be.

In time you may come to feel that you have grown apart and that there was a reason you broke up.

First loves happen when we're young, and we all go through a lot of changes before we're ready to settle down.

PS One day you may cherish the memory of the romance, but not want it back.

Or, if you really feel strongly about it, talk to him. You may end up hurting four people, including yourself, but if you're willing to risk it you will indeed get a resolution of some kind.

Good luck.

No matter what, your first love will be the foundation of your expectations for the rest of your days. It will teach you how to move on in life. It sounds like your break up was recent. Just bare with it. The worst that you can do is get back together. Learn from it and find things you like in other partners.

Well firstly - I know the feeling. However, if this guy was meant to be the one for you, you would have never of broke up in the first place. Of course things are going to be different with your new boyfriend but you should welcome this change rather than reject it. Change is good, change is exciting. If you really cannot bear to be apart from your ex for heavens sake break up with this new guy before you do some thing you'll regret.
