Not really, but it makes a nice soothing drink.

This is a really old fashioned remedy for coughs and colds.
Take an onion and slice it up, put in a dish. Cover with either brown sugar or honey, then cover and put in a fridge for about 4 hours. It releases juice, which you should then drink, just two teaspoons 3 times a day. It really works for loosening up a tight chest, and soothing a dry tickly cough. Try it, honestly it does work.

Try boiling up some lemonade, adding a spoonful of honey and half a capful of whisky, also take two paracetamols. It's best to have this just before you go to bed, it sweats it out of you. I have severe asthma, so I have to be very careful of getting a cold or flu, I always take this remedy at the first sign of a cold/flu and it always works. (Don't worry if you don't like whisky, I hate the stuff, but honestly, you can't taste it )

It won't get rid of your flu, but it will help ease you symptoms a bit. The lemon will help shift any gunge on your chest and the honey will sooth a sore throat and has also be said to have good healing properties.
I hope you feel better soon.

a million-2 Tablespoons of Honey, and a million-2 Tablespoons of lemon juice(no water, and that i'm no longer positive if the lemon juice should be substituted with Lime juice)...make positive that is equivalent parts of each element, then microwave the blend somewhat so it mixes properly and is warmth. Drink the blend very slowly in little sips at a time like cough syrup to make positive it coats your throat. i imagine this works maximum suitable when you've gargled a pitcher of warm temperature saltwater, then taken Mucinex and drank a tall glass or 2 of room temperature water or warm tea...also, my dad (who isn't a drinker) likes to slowly sip 2 tablespoons of peppermint schnapps each few hours to coat a sore throat that has became raw from coughing alot.

Yes, it should do. My mum always used to make me this when I was sick & although real lemons are best, squeezy lemon will do. As for the honey, it's fine if it comes from a jar, as long as it's still honey. Hope you feel better soon!

What you have clearly isn't flu. If you had flu you wouldn't be able to function well enough to use your pc - you'd be lying in bed wishing you were dead rather than having to suffer the pain you'd be in.
Lecture over. Lemon and honey will, however, make your cold feel better but they won't cure it.

You don’t need to exercise for long periods of time. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results should you work hard. Get a skipping rope, skip for two min's, do push ups for 60 seconds or so, skip for two minutes, rest for just one minute. Then change the push around something else like sit ups and also do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s a fast, effective workout that will recover results than a long run or swim.
