This is a true story. I was at mcdonalds, in line getting ready to order, when i noticed everybody backing away, i got a sense of fear, so i turned around to notice, 2 homeless men standing in line. His eyes were so blue, that it gave me goosebumps. I noticed his hands were blue from being outside, he was looking for change to buy coffee for the 2 of them so that they could warm up. he got the coffee and sat down with his friend, as i was ordering, i had this strong feeling come over, so i ordered 2 more breakfast plates. itook these men the food, and sat down with them. those blue eyes had tears in them, all i could do was hold his hand and cry. no words were spoken between us as we ate. when we finished i asked him "can i get you a room for the night", he said no, that i had already did what god wanted me too. i asked how he knew god wanted me to do what. he smiled and winked with those big blue eyes, patted my shoulder and left. i sat there and pondered what had just happened. pray

Wow, that is an amazing story. I believe that we encounter angels all the time, maybe not in the sense that they came directly from heaven but in the sense that God works through people all the time and if someone is put in our path they are there to make us think about something or to nudge us to do something that we wouldn't normally do.
Maybe your homeless man was not sent from heaven but God was definitely working through him that day or maybe he was working through you and you were his angel.

First of all, these were not angels. they were homeless.
it is sign of wickedness to wink.
but being uneducated in the scriptures they may not have known this.

aproximately 30% of all homeless USE the system to get by. They are more like ConMen and drunkards than NOT.
however there are righteous people who are forced into being homeless by the wickedness of men who conspire to destroy peoples lives. I have first hand experience in this situation.

but you wont lose your reward for feeding them, They, however, will be judged and condemned if they do not repent, according to the mercy they received at your hand.

COOL!

And YES! I believe Angels are right here on Earth, and God puts them RIGHT SMACK IN FRONT OF OUR EYES!!
They don't HAVE to be angels for God to want us to treat people the SAME WAY we would "entertain an angel".

The Bible speaks of ',..not knowing when we are entaining an angel,...'

You were sooo lucky!
Doesn't it make you feel WONDERFUL inside that God would use you in SUCH a WAY?

You may not know it, but people watched,................

God tells me to do stuff all the time. I don't even QUESTION Him, anymore.
I USED to say,"Are You sure?"--thinking, MAYBE this is NOT God
and THEN, I would ask again, and He cuts me off--telling me, AGAIN, to do whatever He said.
The blessings are out there-EVERY DAY!
LOOK for them!
You feel so good when you GET YOUR MIND OFF YOURSELF!

What profit do you gain if you love only the one you love.

The story shows that we have to be sensitive to what people needs. If we are really to love GOD starts with the lowly and humble your heart to serve best without waiting in return.

All thru the scriptures and as JESUS did, he came for the sick and not for the good. He site to us a very good example to be a servant to all. As we have seen, heard and read, humble yourself in the sight of the LORD by serving others to what it calls. Remember as what Jesus said whatsover you do to the least of my brother that you do unto me, when i was hungry you give me to eat, when i was thirsty you give to drink now enter into the home of my Father.

I know that we are not very much people believing in such things, but yes I believe in angels! I believe that they are around us and if we have clean souls we could hear see them and listen to them in all senses!
Maybe sometimes they have human figures!I don't know!
That was a nice thing you did!

Yes. Angels are a ministering spirit. We are not to pray to them or talk to them (in a spiritual sense), but talking to them if they appear before us (in a conversation) is okay.We are not to worship them in any way.

Sometimes, God does send angels in this way.

Good job (whether they were angels or not).

I believe in angels. I have a lot of incidents like that, so am aware of them all the time. They also look after me and my family.

No, I have never spoken to an Angel. I doubt you have either. You were kind enough to be considered an Angel though :)

Of course the Bible says "men have entertained angels unaware". I suspect that all of us have "entertained" or "not" entertained (rejected someone in need) angels much more than we think. It will be revealed at the judgement, of course...theBerean
