What I think this person is getting at is that a baby died at a week old.

Every life has meaning, what the meaning is may or may not be known. There is a reason for everything; there is a plan. Call it fate, destiny, divine providence, what-have-you. This person touched lives, made a difference even if she/he was only in the world a week. I know it is hard to see out of grief, but there is always hope and always purpose.

Life is not either a blessing or a curse. Life on this earth is not a gift or a punish. Life on this earth was our election to have an experience, one of the most challenging ones in the universe. Life is TO EXPERIENCE, you decide if you live it with joy and freedom, with boredom or with fear and despair. You have to respect other peoples' choice, including when and how they leave this marvelous planet.

Life is a blessing and gift only in our acceptance of eternal life. Our lives on this planet are very short and many trials and tribulation come our way even though we would live 120 years or more. Eternal life with God is another concept though and we should strive for this.

Actually "hell" did not end life in any form.. God ends life...whether you go to heaven of hell depends on your choice for salvation. In Genesis, you will read that God shortened man's life to only 100 years...Life is still a blessing and a gift....

I wish there were more details to go on, but I think it goes without saying that things do happen in this life which we will probably never understand, never agree with. We will find out the answers on the other side of this life. Hindsight, as it's said, is 20/20.
Hang in there.

Life is a blessing , no where does it say how long life is , it is not guaranteed another day ..that's why they say live everyday as if it were your last we have our own choice as to how it is spent. some make the best of it ..some piss it away ... some do not have a chance but there is a reason for it. we are not to ask why ,and we are not to take it for granted..

Time as spoken of in Genesis is not quite as we automatically think of it. The term day simply means a period of time. We today use this word in a similar context. When we speak of someone's day, we are not referring to a 24 hour period, but an indefinite period of time which could be as much as a few years or decades. The day spoken of in Genesis could be (even within the context of the Bible) be as long as the scientist community estimate the universe came into being.
