I answered this question once before from someone else, so here goes again.
Brown the mince with a chopped onion and some mushrooms, drain off the excess fat.
Add a tin of beef or oxtail soup. If you don't have either, use gravy granules and water.
Add a good pinch of mixed herbs.
Simmer 15- 20 minutes, then add a tin of baked beans and heat through.
Serve with....anything - rice, pasta, potatoes in any form, chunky bread.
My sister in law used to make it for her large family lunches and it has since become a favourite with my family too. Quick and easy to make, versatile too.

Try boiling the mince up with some basmati rice and peas mixed with some cardomom pods. At the last minute stir in some cumin and fresh coriander. This doesn't actually need to be served with anything as a snack, but could be served with anything in a curry or other lightly spiced sauce.
The important thing with beef mince is that, whatever you do with it, it needs to be boiled for between 2 and 3 hours until it is completely soft and tender.

when cooked put the mince filling into a medium sized yorkshire pudding
sprinkle some grated cheese on top
and put under the grill until the cheese has melted
and serve with some pan fried garlic potatoes

Why not try forming your own meatballs or making a meat loaf. Or you could form it with whatever you like and make a cheaper form of beef wellington.
