It takes a seriously sick mind to eagerly look forward to what is descibed in Revelation as a good thing. Mass death, destruction, carnage, war, blood everywhere, disease, locusts the size of horses with human faces, and worse.

No, I don't. I don't buy into the "glorious" revenge fantasy you guys have about everyone who doesn't believe you dying and suffering horribly forever, any more than I believe in Ragnarok or the torch of Kali.

As I recall, Jesus himself supposedly said to his immediate followers that "there are those among you who will not taste of death ere the coming of the Kingdom of God." I've got bad news, though. Everyone who was alive at the time he supposedly said this is dead now. Been dead for a very long time. Looks like he's just a tiny bit late...

How many people believe in multiple appearances?
There is the day of the lord, and there is the DAY of the LORD.
there is the visitations of the lord throughout all history, and there is the Coming like a thief in the night.
Jesus will come at the beginning of the millenium and God the Father will Come at the end of the Resurrection.

The bible teaches the second coming of Jesus. There is also the rapture of the church which takes place before the second coming of Jesus. In the rapture Jesus comes into the air and takes all those who believe in him to heaven with him. It happens in the twinkling of an eye and no one will see him except those who go with him. In the second coming of Jesus he will come in judgment and every eye will see him.

In the mass, the priest said, "...until we joyfully wait for the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ." Through Him, with Him in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all Glory and Honor is Yours Almighty Father, for ever and ever..." Then the great amen is sung. That's the dogma of the Catholic Church.

I do and I cannot wait.
I look to the sky about once a week and hope that I will see the heaven's part and the trumpet sound.
Peace out.

Just kidding .... yes, I believe in the second coming of Jesus, unless I die before then, then I guess I'll see Him in Heaven.

I do. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. As He ascended into heaven, so will He return on the last day. So we have to be prepared because we do not know when He will come again.

I do. He will return silently and quickly, like a thief in the night. Be ready, because there will not be time then to change your heart. God bless.
