i have just started taking this drug and i feel better, but i dont need to sleep any more, in the past i would treat my self with cannabas and the efects were very similer, but i was still able to sleep, but its cool because theres allways stuff to get done if you are me, i like it so far, the fact that i only need to sleep 2 or 3 hours a day ,and still feel great. i have never did meth. but i wonder if this is what its like can any one tell me. i dont have to eat any more either so thats good to i have to force my self to eat, so far its a graet drug i feel like i have super powers compared to how i felt before, much more efective than cannabas, i just hope my liver holds up and that i dont have a seasure are some thing weird like that. and i allso wonder about seeing things that are not really there if you go with out sleep long enough that can happen it could be enteresting. i have heard that people that take meth. like to abuse wellbutrin. so i guess i am a tweeker now, but its legal

You want ME to tell you about the drug?- it seems you are well experienced in it yourself

But Mr superpower- please be careful, I have never heard of this drug before and that comes from years of mental health experience. Did your G.P/consultant/psychiatrist prescribe /advise it to you? If so you need to ask them what to experience next as although it sounds like plain saling, it could- like my experience of antidepressenta/antipsychotices...etc, be your body getting used to having it in its system.

I can explain this interms of my antidepressent- seroxat which appears to not work and infact make your mood worse in the first 7-14 days, if you can hold on through this, after this- and the time scale varies from person to person, you start to feel better- this is as the drug has gotten into your systlem and is working. Your body had found a use for the chemicals. But needless to say the initial few days are not experienced anymore.

I would wonder if after a few days your body gets used to the drug, your sleep returns- though prehaps not to the same degree as when you were depressed, Your mood wont feel sky high but not depressed either, and things will be in your hands, you may feel cravings to knock out your feelings again with cannabis but the feelings will be way more tollerable than before.

Or you could simply be on too high a dose- this another good reason to speak to a health professional. If you have decided to self medicate -I mean that you found this drug yourself, and your gp is unaware, then even more good reason to tell them- it could be dangerous to your system, or they may want to know so they can advise it to others in similar situations. If its legal no one will take it from you.

Remember, unless you want to be taking drugs and pills forever you will eventually want to come off this, so by going on too high a dose, you set yourself up for it to be harder to come off in the long run.

I am sorry to bust your bubble, but wellbutrin is not a tweeter, not any any means or way. That shows you how much they must be tweeting off of meth to think that at all. Personally I have talken wellbutrin to help me quit smoking, and it did not even do that well, but as i am always saying, that not all medications work for everyone, now for you it seems to be working fine, so i would stick with it. I personally found no use for it in any field, and so i just could not really hear anyone calling it a tweety drug. I have heard that it has helped a lot of people with their depression and smoking, so as i said it may work for some, while not others. What concerns me here is you are asking about going without sleep and maybe seeing things, and not eating, it sounds like to me you are trying to get some extra problems going, which i can assure you you will wish that u did not get going, you need to eat and you really need more sleep then what you wrote here. Otherwise you are looking for trouble, and that you really do not need. Do not be taking medication just cause you think it is cool, cause that will get old really quit, take it cause you need it and you actually want to get well, not high.

From what I read about you & the effects of the wellbutrin, My opinion is that this is not the correct form of med. Your body needs rest (7-8 hours) & you have to eat or your body will start shuting down slowly. I have been depressed before & took Zanax for awhile, but realized that all these meds do is mess with your head. I looked for a natural approach- St. Johns Wort seems to help & I dont feel dissconnected like I did when I was on a GOV.drug that the FDA invented & really doesnt know what side effects can or will be. No one knows what kind of aftereffects they can have on unborn children. My mom took a drug called DES when she was pregant with me & I am the one that has to suffer the side effects. My advice- Look into natural cures *

I have been suffering from post partum depression for the past one year when I gave birth to a baby boy. I couldn't stop thinking about how my husband loves him more than me and how things might be better if he wasn't born at all. Thus, I stayed away from him because I knew that I might do something I will regret for the rest of my life.

Almost instantly I went to a therapist and convince them that I need help. Among other things, I've tried herbal supplements and other book to treat depression but nothing works like the Depression Free Method. So now I'm proud to say I'm one of the happiest mother in the world. My husband loves us both very much and I thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us.

Depression Free Method?

Well Welbutrin is no "tweeker" drug. It is considered a Newer Agent of Antidepresessents. It is used for a variety of things... I was on it for over a year for my ADHD to improve ability to focus. My boyfriend is on it to help smoking.

Side effects are loss of appetite and insomnia. Don't confuse that with not needing to sleep or eat anymore. Just because the urge isnt there, doesn't mean it is good.

It is also known to through someone into a state of mania.

I too used to self medicate with weed... finally kicked that habit.

I would go back to your doctor, and let them know about your sleep and eating problems. That will catch up to you eventually. Both are critical for a healthy body.

Good luck to you!

I can tell you that Wellbutrin has worked for me. You still need to sleep. I am glad I don't eat as much anymore though.
