Yaeh, you probably have a lightning-fast metabolism.
But you might not really eat a lot. You are probably very skinny and have a small stomach and it just SEEMS (to you) you're eating loads.
People are different. There are skinny people who starve themselves and fat people who stuff their faces all the time.
But there are also people who are naturally very skinny and people who are big and can't really help it.
So don't worry. If you are eating healthily and enough and if you are not losing any weight, you're just fine.

Everybody is completely right, it won't last. I have always been extremely underweight and hated it, until the last year approx. I gave birth at 30, didn't really get that big but loved the extra weight afterwards. However this soon dropped off leaving me really bony again. I've been accused of being ill or anorexic over the years with some people actually being VERY rude. I am neither ill or anorexic and pride myself in being more tactful than these ignoramuses. I would never dream of telling somebody that there must be something wrong with them as they are too fat or thin (in my opinion). However, I am now finding as I approach forty that as predicted by many people and never believed by myself, I am acquiring a bit of 'middle age spread' and I am HAPPY. I have gone from size 6 clothes hanging off me and looking awful to filling them up and sometimes needing a size 8. The cellulite doesn't bother me either as I had this when I was skinny anyway. Enjoy the way you are and be thankful for your health. Good luck xx

Your weight seems about right for your height, maybe a little over. Keep in mind that if you are still in puberty, you will eat a lot and not necessarily gain a ton of weight. It also depends on how active you are. I am 5'6" and weigh 135 lbs. I started karate and lost 15 pounds in several months. I had to stop because of my schedule and slowly gained it back. So it depends what you do. Athletes generally need more food than non-athletes.

Metablism, your body digests quickly so your hungry alot if your very sporty or are under stress then your body will get rid of this weight. Its not always a matter of how much you eat but what you eat!!!!!! If your eating vegetables and fruits alot which dont have any carberhydrated fats then you wont get fat. Unless your in bad health because your underweight you should carry on as you are. If you still want to gain weight then do it gradually otherwise it could be dangerous.

Some people would envy you. However, I have been on both ends of the scale. I lost a lot of weight and it turned out to be diabetes.
Other reasons could be that you have an overactive thyroid.
Otherwise, you might just be naturally thin.
At the moment, I am not eating enough, and I am getting fatter - could be the fact that my medication has changed.

Your metabolism is prolly so high, it doesn't matter what or how much you consume, you must burn it right off! I would talk w/ you doctor, have them check your thyroid and discuss what you may do to gain weight...sometimes working out and eating alllot of protein and carbs. will add to your body mass. Just depends on what gender you are. Maybe a nutritionist would be a good route as well, see what they suggest.

While I agree that the reason may be your metabolism, I think you should see your doctor. There may be a medical reason for your inability to gain weight. Your doctor should also be able to recommend a healthy diet which will allow you to gain weight in a proper manner.

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/iW6jP
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

I am exactley the same i eat loads and dont put on any weight. I was told by the doctor to buy protien shakes (ones that body builders use) from a health shop as they are high in protien which helps you put on weight.
If you dont want to drink these then red meat is high in protien and eggs.
