Trying to gain weight rapidly can be as dangerous as trying to lose weight too rapidly. When I needed to gain weight I ate my regular, healthy diet and added Ensure as snacks twice a day. I even put frozen yogurt in the Ensure sometimes to make it like an ice cream float.
I was able to gain the weight I needed without adding unhealthy fats and bad carbs to my diet. Please do not add fats and unhealthy foods just to gain weight.
