The fact that the Pope is not a natural born American citizen would immediately preclude even the possibility of this happening, but just for the sake of debate let's say that he actually could be president. The answer then becomes not much. People wish to assign extraordinary power to the President which he doesn't possess in reality. The President is not a dictator and does not possess absolute power. He does not have the ability to make law. He merely signs or vetoes the laws Congress presents to him. Our government is setup with a system of checks and balances which do work. The Pope as President would not be able to create a religious theocracy and could not impose sweeping reform of any type without the approval of Congress and the courts.

The part of the constitution about the separation of church and state would definitely be violated.

And, it can't happen, since the US President must be born in the United States. We'd have to have an American elected Pope first, which I don't think will ever happen.

Than he will start the Third World Wide War because he is a Nazi.
He was member of Hitler's youth organization when he was a kid.

A Franco style religious dictatorship would be instaureted, and Christianity would be official.
The pope would deport the members of other confessions.
In school, all the material would be religious teaching, and he would try to colonize Africa (like the Pope did many years ago, imperialism is a tradition of Christian church).

This pope is a crazy Nazi.

I guess the first thing he would do, it would to legalize rape. Priests has raped altar boys for decades with the knowledge of the Church, high priests and even the papal, and nothing was done or have done to punish this terrible and coward crime against innocent children in the church.
Even John Paul II that I considered a good pope, didn't nothing about those cases. This pope, have already disappointed me by criticizing others people religion. This is not the message sent by Jesus. Jesus was against this type of judgmental and discriminator statement that this pope has already done and maintained.
I am catholic and I have no consideration for his words.
