Here are some really nice ones:

I have also heard mention of a "chastity girdle" which was popular in the middle ages but also has some modern proponents

Needless to say, with one of those chastity girdles, you will definitely not be able to do any cooking of any kind. Everything will be cold and frigid and I don't foresee any steaminess. I mean, you can apply all the oil you want but there's not going to be any action.

A Girdle is an old English word for Griddle. You can buy these in some John Dyas shops also you may be able to get one in Jerry's home stores. Debenhams and John Lewis are two other likely candidates but your best bet would be a kitchen/catering suppliers.

That's funny I'm sure it was just a mistake, but you put girdle instead of Griddle and to anwer your qustion you can pretty much find them anywhere even walmart, I would go to a department store though like Dillards they have many differents sizes and styles to choose from that should suit your needs

My husband's grandmother used to wear one that was practically made of cast iron. It was the only kind they made in the 1940's and 50's ;)

I'll have a rummage around in the attic and ship it to you.

I think if you tried to cook them on a "girdle" you would be in big trouble.
What you need is a "gridle!"
