My answer is no, nowhere in the bible stated what you have said. do not pray to Mary but instead Pray onto the Lord "Phi 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Mary is the mother of Jesus. we respect her as a mother of Jesus but we don't need her to be a mediator to God because are mediator is our Lord Jesus Christ
"1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

Mary was not involved in the healing of the leper. The Bible does not place her there. We do not pray to Mary, but I can't understand anyone saying not to honor her. She was chosen by God from all women. Even John Calvin called her "the treasurer of grace."

One person answered above about books that were written by Mary and her mother. There is only one book and it's called the Gospel of Mary. It's not part of the Bible, but it's not "banned and burned" either. In fact, you can read it by using Google. The problem with it is that it cannot be verified, the way the Gospels have been, by other writings from the time. But verified or not, it does NOT say anything about Jesus being married.

Christians and catholics will give you a different answer. Mary didnt ask him to cure lepers... she wasnt with him when he did all his miracles.. just some.

Mary was a vessel used by God.... just like Moses, Abraham, Jacob, Joseph son of Jacob, John the baptist. She may have birthed the Son of God, but she was not 'holier' than other people that God uses.

When we pray to anyone but God or Jesus... we do not know for sure if anyone else is 'listening'... the bible states "no one comes to the father except thru me" said Jesus... prayer should be directed to the Lord.. you do not need a go between to 'assist' in prayers or confessions... God wants a personal relationship with you... you need to pray to Him in order for Him to answer... Mary cannot answer your prayers

Jesus healed the lepers because his Father(God) show him to do so, He did not heal everyone, The Catholics still calls Mary a Virgin, That is so untrue, Joeseph & Mary did not have any sexual relationship until after Jesus was born & then Mary had relationships with her Husband, Joeseph, Catholics looks at Mary no further than bearing Jesus, They fail to see that Mary had other children.

Jesus paid the price so you can go right to the throne of grace and talk straight to God yourself. Mary is blessed the Word says so, but Jesus was and is the only intervention you need. You were taught correctly.

I believe Jesus healed the leapers out of His own will. Not because Mary asked Him to. I do not believe that we should pray to Mary, but i believe that we should honour her. She was chosen by God to carry Jesus which means alot. To me, Mary is to be respected and looked upon as an example on how we should try and be.Just like Abraham and Moses and other people in the Bible, considering they were sinners like us and had their weaknesses.

through fact does no longer artwork for absolutely everyone. i admire residing in a delusion international. All those writing approximately follow Jesus and do as he did does no longer take place. If those concern have been actual why did no longer Jesus do a miracle that could help human style, like enable his apostles stay for a protracted time. Or enable a number of them proceed to exist to instruct us. there is not any evidence of a majority of those issues written. so so which you are able to take a huge gamble. I study an Atheist who got here across diverse concern approximately all religions using the U. S. Bible as a base. look at lots of the flaws he or she has got here across?

First let me state that Catholics are Christians also.
It is believing and accepting Jesus as your Savior that makes you a Christ ian.
There was only one time in scripture that Mary asked Jesus to do something and that was the first miracle at the wedding in Cana. (He turned water into wine)
When He encountered the lepers They asked "that He have Pity on them." He asked that they go and present themselves to the priest and they were cleanse. Off they went but it was only one that returned to give thanks and it was he that was healed.
He did his miracles not to please Mary, but to show others to God His Father. Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf. Mary is never mentioned as an intercessor, or sitting near either God or Jesus. You were taugt what the person believed it was not incorrect, just misinformed

Mary is not divine.

jesus, being a devout Jew that obeyed the 10 commandments honored His mother. We show Jesus love and respect when we honor His mother.

We are certainly taught to honor Mary but not to pray to her. She was only a human and did not tell Jesus what to do in his ministry.
