i split with my ex of 6 year about 8 months ago.
i realy fancy this other guy. he knows about my past relationship.
he texts me now and then when hes out on the town to see if im out too to meet up. its always "by chance" that we meet.
he says he really likes me and that im a nice girl. he always pays me compliments. we have only kissed.
it can be months before we meet by chance!!!
why wont he ask me out if he likes me as much as he says he does??

he did know my ex because they used to work together. my ex has now moved miles away!!he knows this too.

Next time you see him 'by chance' say " we must stop meeting like this ", make a joke of it , then invite him on a day out or a meal or to see a film, what have you to lose ? he can only say no.
He may have someone else in his life, you will never know if you don't make a move,good luck!!!!

It sounds as if this guy you like is'nt ready to commit. He must be enjoying his life being single and even though he likes meeting you by chance he is'nt in a hurry to start dating. If you do really like him and you why not ask him out? He might even think your not over your ex and might feel awkward. You may as welll ask him - what have you got to loose!

months before u meet by chance? maybe he has been to other towns and does this to all other girls, tired and come back to u?
if he cant even commit himself to date u, do u think he will commit himself to be with u? the answer is no.
