Dear Shadow,

I have been praying that Osama will accept Jesus as his LORD and Savior while he still has the chance.

Jesus died on the cross for sinners.
He died so that those who accept Him could be put into a right Relationship with the awesome uncreated Creator of the universe.

If Osama were the only sinner on the face of the earth Jesus still would have gone to the cross for him.

Let it be!

Yes, if the thief on the cross next to Jesus, could. Your sins get forgiven, and your spirit is recreated. He'd have to repent a very great deal, and it would be extremely humbling and hard, his whole sense of value is probably tied up with his violent actions and ideology.
Jesus would have to appear in a vision to him I think, as any evangelist would probably be shot dead well before seeing him, unless God's man had faith for supernatural protection. He looks to me like a proud man as well, and pride is the one thing that'll make anyone despise the gospel....
"Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many influential, not many of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things to shame the strong." 1 Cor 1:26-27

Why would you think of him as being lost and in need of your idea of salvation?

He is neither good nor evil he just is. The Good and evil that you see don't even exist in reality, at least not outside of the mind that believes in them. They are only judgments passed by the individual from their own unique perspective. What one person sees as bad or evil may seem to be the only logical thing to do from some other perspective. The ideas of both good and evil are point of view specific. This is why people like bush and bin laden are either loved or hated. Bush is seen as good by people who share his fear based thought system. Those who have a compassionate concern for all of mankind often see him as evil.

Bin laden is much the same. He is a villain in much of the western world, but he is somewhat of a celebrated pop star on the Middle East. There are T-shirt shops that sell items with his picture as though he was Jesus. It all depends on your point of view or perspective.

To sum it all up good is the name we give to people who do things that we think we like.

Evil is the name we give to people who do the things that we don’t like.

This is of course based solely on our particular point of view.

Love and blessings

it really is needed that earlier someone is judged, he's given a honest listening to. each and each area of the argument must be heard, the topic must be objectively and particularly analyzed and the reason and the objective of the guy must be taken into consideration, and then the guy will be judged to that end. at the same time as there will be no justifiable reason behind killing innocents, it really is likewise patently unfair to accuse any of killing innocents and not using a honest trial and technique of justice. on the topic of Osama bin weighted down, one does no longer comprehend even if he's reliable or undesirable. I absolutely have not met him in my opinion nor do i comprehend him. i can not provide my opinion depending on the comments of BBC or the CNN. lots of the info on the international media is tailored to verify ulterior motives and acceptable for project the image what they pick. The Qur'an says: “O you who trust! Even interior the circumstances of warfare, this element isn't to be left out. the first caliph of Islam, Abu Bakr As-Siddique (R) is declared to have commanded Usama ibne Zaid (R): “I command you to do ten issues: you should no longer kill a lady or a baby, or an elderly individual; do no longer decrease down trees, or vandalize houses, or wound a sheep or camel except in case you should eat it; do no longer drown a palm tree, or burn it, do no longer be treacherous; do no longer be cowardly; and also you'll go by those who've committed themselves to monastery life: depart them on my own with their devotions.” (Tarikh At-Tabari, V.3, p.210) subsequently killing toddlers or harmless actually everyone isn't allowed in Islam. Who are we to judge who will be saved or not.
If (and yes it's most unlikely) but for arguments sake, lets say he accepts Jesus as his savior and he asks for forgiveness for his sins - There should be no reason why he wouldn't be saved

If something that unlikely was to ever happen than of course he would be saved. He would still be responsible for the crimes that he had commited but Jesus would not let him burn in hell for all eternity is he truly had become one of his followers.

the answer is Yes.
But the true question would be, would such a man think to call upon Jesus or Moahammed? He is probably in hell to this day because of his pride

2007-02-20 23:28:07 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 0 1

No (well, if it was my way it would be a no)
He's broken every single one of those ten commandments - more than once and shown no signs of repenting what so ever.
After countless number of sins - he cannot possibly be saved - and I believe that it's off to hell for him.
It's hypocritical of him to go against every single one of Jesus' teachings then suddenly decide that he wants Jesus to be his saviour.
Anyway, it's not exactly for us to judge.

Anyone is capable of salvation, Christ died for the ungodly, and since Christ was given the full authority of God to forgive and condemn sinners, how can you need salvation from someone greater than God?
