Probably none. But there will be very few Scottish flags either. It'll mainly be the tricolour.

As far as I'm concerned Rangers can feck off to England and Celtic can feck of to Ireland and the rest of us Scottish football fans can enjoy watching teams whose supporters actually care about Scotland and are not obsessed with fighting each other over religious differences most of the morons involved don't even understand.

Probably none, but dont worry about it, Celtic were the first Scottish team to win; us English know that (I, and the majority of the English, dont represent the press). Fly your St Andrews flag with pride.
I cant imagine many St George flags being waved at Old Trafford either when they commemmorate 50 years of European football.

(Andy Murray is Scottish, not British)

Mojo - by the way, it is a Union Flag, it becomes a Union Jack when its only displayed at sea (a jack is a nautical term for a flag)

I have to say that a Scottish club whose supporters wear Holland tops or England top really is the pits. The Act of Union was a sell out to the people of Scotland by the elite upper classes. The Union flag is not a symbol of pride for true Scots, more a symbol of the tyranical powers that have run Scotland and its people into the ground for the last 300 years. In answ er to your question, none. But then Rangers will never win the European Cup.

Nearly all the flags flown anywhere in the world are made in China nowadays. Flags mean nothing nowadays, what they represent changes too often. The Scots win little nowadays. Where's "Parkhead"? I'd like to know. Thassall. Me, I'm off back to bed now.

Can we no just gie it a rest for a while...? Im a Celtic supporter and I refuse to take my sons to Parkhead because of the bigotry. Everyone seems to be making the effort in N.I. to keep the peace but we wanna kill each other four times a season. F@ckin pathetic on both sides.

Probably more tri-colours than union jacks or saltires. But that is Celtic I suppose. In fairness there will be more green and white hoops than anything else and that is probably as it should be. They are celebrating their win not the UKs.

On the flip side, how much coverage do you think the anniversary will get in the UK wide press? Very little if any is most likely.

oh, I LOOOOOOVE rhetorical questions!!!!!!!.
Lets face it, the Scots are Scottish, The English are English etc etc. And quite right too.
You won't see many EU flags when Britain played tennis against the yanks in davis Cup!! (if that ever happens again!)

ENGLAND! ENGLAND!

I dont see the point in supporting other British countries when the people I've met who are from around Britian hate the English! E.g. Andy Murray, what an idiot!

Do you mean Union Jacks - the proper name, as determined by Parliament - for the flag of the United Kingdom.
