A suit, male or female. Freshly barbered or styled hair, comfortable stylish conservative shoes, jewelry, make-up.
make sure all the clothes match, and/or coordinate. Wear subdued colors.
I just took a new job, and part of the 5 day new employee seminar was about how to look and what to wear. I do no think they wanted to come away with the impression of them that I did. A Vice President of the entity I work at came to talk to us. It was 9am. Her skirt was rumpled, it did not match her jacket, in material or color.. The style and material were cheap. It was warm in the room, and she commented that she was going to take off her jacket. She had a man's white t-shirt under the jacket.
My point is, that was almost a year ago, and I remember it, and her of all the visitors in our classroom, and not in the way she would have liked. I was not the only one to notice, some fresh out of school employees noticed, too.. The maintance supervisor was dressed better, I did not even expect him to wear a suit. He does not necessarily in his job.
She is a VP. she can wear whatever she likes. And her behavior will not sway me from the rules, and how I know I should dress.

It really depends on the meeting, and who you are meeting with. If in doubt, a nice skirt, and blouse for a girl, or dress pants and shirt for a guy never fail.

Do you know who your meeting with? How do they usualy dress? If there more conservative, then obviously more conservative dress is probably called for. If there more layed back, then if you try to overdress, they may think you are trying to hard.

It also depends on your personality. If your a girl, and don't usualy wear skirts or dresses, and are not comfortable in them, the person you are meeting with will probably pick up on that and it could work against you.

Try being more descriptive in your questions and you may get better answers.

Hi Dee p, or is it Deep ?
What sort of meeting, mon ami ?
As a bloke, I get away with a decent suit, funny shirt, and daft tie.
Or perhaps my DJ & a purple bow tie.
Jeans & sweatshirt for informal stuff.
We blokes are a bit limited.
Girl stuff is beyond me most of the time.
The black and bling look seems to look OK for many an occassion.

If you are meeting the boss, how about stark naked, with jewels ?

I jest, but worth a thought perhaps.

Bob.

It depends on the nature of the meeting. I would probably dress in at least shirt, tie, and slacks if I wasn't sure otherwise.
I could always remove the tie if no one else were wearing one.

It depends on the meeting. I would dress cleanly and observe the rules of the company dress code. Take your cues from the other employees you see working there. how do they dress?

Depends on formality. If you know the company, then you will be familiar with their usual apparel. If not, go neat, suit and tie, or suit and nice shirt, no tie. No after shave colognes.

Woman, conservative clothing. Suit is not necessary. Omit too much jewlery, no perfume, bangles (all distracting).

Crisp and tidy. Shoes buffed.
