Rather than snapping the picture, you can simply right-click (assuming that you are using MS Windows), and select 'save picture as...' to save the image to your computer.

When you say analog camera ... do you mean film camera?

You can certainly take a still picture of a computer screen using a film camera, but using a flash might cause a bright reflection in the photo. Though the flash won't harm the monitor; take your picture without a flash anyway.

You may be disappointed with the results though. Your camera may possibly catch the lines on your monitor that your eyes can't see. The lines are caused by the screen image being refreshed thousands of times per second.

Best bet. Right-click on the picture and choose 'Save image as' from the menu that pops up. Name the image and save it in your My Pictures folder. When you have it, print it! You'll be way happier with the results and you won't have to wait for it to be developed.

I'm assuming that you are asking if you can use your computer system to control your digital camera. If my assumption is correct....then the answer is YES. All you need is the correct software package, computer connections (usually a firewire or USB port) and a camera that is suitable for connection to your system.

I hope that helps you.
