You need to get those split ends cut off before they get worse. Talk to your stylist and ask him/her how much they think needs to come off in order to get your hair in good condition.
Any stylist worth their salt will tell it to you how it is, they should also be able to advise you on how to prevent further damage too.
Good luck.

have layers and get about 2 cm cut off 4 the split ends 2 go away so it doesnt effect the length also use a dry hair shampoo to keep away the dryness also use a heat defence spray 4 when u straighten this will stop ur hair burning and becoming dry.

JI HAD THE SAME PROBLEM!!
Just tell them to trim it. That will get rid of dead hair, split ends, etc. Also get a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner to use for a week or so after you get it cut. Also you might want to ask for layers. (if you already have some then just get them trimmed. That helps your curly hair perk up a bit.

MUAH!!
Hope my advice helps!!

p.s. ask whoever is cutting your hair if you would look good with angles.

Ask the hairdresser to cut off all your split ends, it will grow better and if you dont cut them all off, they will just carry on spliting.
