Scoop out about a cup or so of the liquid, replacing it with the equivalent amount of canned chicken broth. Add a smidgen of black pepper and it should be fine.

I would bring some sauteed mushrooms and asparagus spears. Simply put 1/2 stick of butter and a little olive oil in frying pan, add fresh mushrooms (whole caps) and asparagus spears with a bit of garlic, salt & pepper. Sautee on medium heat for about 15 minutes. Wonderful side dish with chicken (and it has two veggies in it).

you can probably spice it up a bit......a little salt and pepper or MRS. DASH maybe.I only add about half of what it calls for which is usually a whole can.I am just guessing it is canned soup because you didn't say.It should work for homeade, too.Better luck next time and don't cry over spilled milk....(soup) We all make mistakes.

Sometimes i add Soy sauce to add a lil extra flavor to bland tasting items such as soup. You may want to add a bouyon cube for the stock you are using...extra herbs, deff. recommend a couple splashes of Soy sauce though.

Chicken broth to add flavor or a chicken bouillon cube. Flour to thicken it up.

In the superstore, fruits are usually chosen much too soon. Some are rocks, many are bad. Some of the fresh vegetables are right (zucchini, onions, garlic, lettuce, greens, and a few others) so I'd have to go with vegetables.
