This is a tough concept for women to grasp and it's understandable considering us guys have a hard time understanding women, but Ill try to break it down so it's easy.
Guys are built way different. We are turned on by totally different things than women. We are turned on by visual things. Look at the porn industry for example...How many male viewers than female? I believe it's over 90% male. The hormones flowing through our bodies trigger sex impulses all the time. So when you hear that men have a sexual thought on average of once every 20 seconds, it's very true. It's not something we have control over. We DO, however, have control over our reaction to the thoughts and that is where many guys get into trouble---they allow themselves to cheat on their wives or girlfriends because they refused to control their urges. Women: NEVER accept "I couldnt help myself." That is a boldface lie.
Women on the other hand are turned on (for the most part) by auditory or touch. You dont think about sex all that often because your environment isnt mostly sexual. In a male's world, since we are driving by the visual, see women everywhere. We see sexy ads on billboards and TV, we see magazine ads, we see sexy women everywhere, and the hormones start telling us "wow, that's hot, " or even worse "I want her!" We dont have any control over the visual stimulation. It's not a scapegoat-its DNA.
Girls, if you are tired of guys coming on to you, look how you dress. Do you dress in a style of clothing that reveals more skin? Well, duh, there's your answer. We're a visual being and we're seeing skin, and we want to see more. Im not implying that women should wear birkas. ;) But if you are having trouble with guys not leaving you alone, its probably because your thong is showing. If you want guys to settle down, dont subscribe to society and pop culture that says that lowride jeans that exposes your skin, or tops that expose your breasts to the world.
Guys need to do some things, too. They need to stop sweet-talking women into sex. They need to stop the "innocent" backrubs when all of us know what they are trying to do---butter you up.
Find a guy who is willing to date you without sex. Make him work for it. Make him show you he wants you for you, not your body.

No! Most adolescents don't think about sex- they just think about what they have to do to get some- specially in high school. Once they get it, then Yes, they probably spend a lot of time thinking how they could get it again, and again, and again, and maybe with two girls at a time, or the whole cheerleading squad, or with an older girl, or a different hair-coloured girl, or being filmed at it, or day-dreaming about a fantasy- like a bikini carwash scenario...
And when they're not thinking about either of those options, they're most likely thinking about how to get to the next level of the PS game they're hooked on atm.
But, hey! That's just generalising.
Let's face it- sex is a human need, just like it is for animals- even desexed dogs want it. The more it's thrown in their face (through sexy music clips, TV, revealing female fashion, and word-of-mouth), the more they are going to want it- think about it, and spend every free second they have trying to get some. Why else do you think advertising companies use it to sell- Sex Sells- always has, always will.
Now, if you wanna talk about men- i.e.: guys who get enough sex, then that's a different story. They think about package deals: how to get sex AND their shirts ironed, food cooked, house cleaned. Who do you think invented Marriage? I'll give you a clue: it wasn't women dressed in long black dresses with crosses around their necks!

Not all guys are the same and not all girls are the same....I know a girl who is as bad as I am about thinking about sex (so I married her). I know a guy who I believe has to think about it probably twice as often as I do.
In general though, yes males after a certain age do think about sex far more often then females

I saw a study that said that men think about sex every 2 minutes while women think about it once per day. That once is trying to figure out how to get out of doing it with her guy who thought about it all day (kidding)! But seriously, it's the difference in how men and women are wired. Men are so visually stimulated. I probably have a sexual thought about 80% of the women that I come in contact with every day. Even if I'm not that attracted to her, I might notice some physical feature of her that day.

I would say from the time of birth and through the breast feeding stage that males have that animal instinct in them to pursue sex, all the way up to the time when they are elderly and have to wear Depends undergarments. It's a certain biological occurence, and is as predictable as death and taxes.

No, your friend is a dirty perv... and probably failed miserably in High school.
Once a day at school maybe... but 99.9% of the time??? Hard to walk around school with a *****... and that just isnt cool in PE or gym class.
Besides if you think about it 99.9% of the time.. means you aint getting any.

I suppose when a guy finally discovers the wonders and joys of sex, it's a dominant subject on his mind. As their maturity level increases though, the subject of sex diminishes. It's different from person to person.

No guys don't think about sex 100%. 40% yes. Beer, football, and cars account for another 50%. Dinner accounts for 5% and scratch itchy ass 3%. 2% left for the actual woman involved in the 40% sex.

Your research, though fairly detailed, is not necessarily authentic, objective and fair. It does not necessarily represent a holistic view of the truth. It seems, somewhat, skewed in favor of gals.

99.9% no but I'd have to say I think about it at least 50 to 60 % of the time.
