I went on a Royal Carribean cruise ship from Barbados to Sao Paolo and we crossed the equator. There was a ceremony where the Captain had to ask Neptune for permission to cross - then lots of people got chucked in the pool!!

Cruises that go to/from the US and South America, or the South Pacific islands like Fiji or Australia. Royal Caribbean, Princess and Celebrity run these type cruise itineraries. Also Holland America also has some cruises that tour the world, I mean they are 30, 60 or 90 days, and they cross the Equator several times.
I have not experienced that yet.

whether the path of water flowing down a plughole became led to by using the Coriolis result (which it incredibly isn't any longer) it may desire to no longer in all hazard be so on the equator. The capability of the Coriolis result's proportional to the sine of the variety so that's at a optimum on the poles and is 0 on the equator. The water will spiral down the plughole, certainly one of those spiral is the least confusing way for the water to depart the tub, yet its path could desire to be in the two path and isn't stricken by using Coriolis. The entertainment director ought to be taught somewhat technology formerly spouting nonsense.
