When weighing yourself it is not imperative to take off all your clothes. However, you should weigh yourself at the same time each day, preferably in the morning, and have about the same amount of clothing each time. If you weigh in the morning wearing pj's, then the next day you are wearing all your clothing, shoes and a coat, it will certainly be different.
A person can quickly lose a lot of water weight thru evaporation, perspiration and urination and/or dehydration. This can easily account for quick weight loss and is common in a lot of cases.
I hope this has helped to some degree.

Hi there,
Clothes, jewellery etc., don't make a huge difference to your weight (unless you're Mr T!!!)
If you can't strip off to weigh yourself on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, then try to make sure you are wearing similar amounts of clothing/jewellery each time, to minimise fluctuations
As for losing/gaining a lot of weight quickly, so much is dependent on what time of day you weigh yourself (you'll be a bit lighter first thing in the morning) and what you have eaten/drunk (think how heavy a 2 litre of water is)
Anyway, you shouldn't be looking at the scales too much - if you are trying to shape up, look in the mirror, and notice how your clothes fit - if they're getting looser, then you are shaping up!
Above all, keep healthy, and don't obsess about your weight - life is too damn short!

This is not gold that we are weighing. Relative weight of our body is more than enough for us to gauge our health. A pound this way or that way is not going to make a big difference in our health. All we have to see that we do not drasticly lose / gain weight. Hence you can take your weight just like that wearing even shoes also but only thing is do the same every time you take the weight and then you will get the relative results which are enough for you.

Lots of things can affect your weight - and therefore make it appear to be going up or down ridiculously quickly. For example, if you eat a meal with a lot of salt in it - like a Chinese takeaway, for instance - that can make you retain water, so if you weigh yourself the next day you'll appear to weigh more. Your menstrual cycle can also have a big impact. Time of day will obviously also affect your weight (i.e. first thing in the morning after you've been to the loo you'll weigh less than last thing at night after your dinner).
Obviously, weighing things that aren't you (clothes, shoes, jewellery) will affect the reading on the scales. What I do is try to weigh myself at the same time of day, in the same sort of clothes (pyjamas or similar), in order to get a reading with as few variables as possible.
Hope this helps - and having said all this about weighing yourself, try not to obsess about your weight! Eat a healthy diet and stay active, and your body will take care of itself.

The best advice I can give you is to use a weight watchers scales and in the bathroom. Go to the loo first then strip off but you can leave on socks..watch..rings..glasses as they do not weigh much. Now you can weigh yourself and should give you a good reading. Use the loo as much as you can because your kidneys are busy organs and filters impurities and drains them into your bladder and add more weight.

in case you've been in simple terms donning wide-spread clothing, i'd take off no more suitable than 2 or 3 pounds. The heavier the garments, the further you would ought to take off. notwithstanding it really is unlike there will be a distinction as huge as ten pounds.
