I thought I saw suspender-like things that connect the sheet under the mattress and make the sheet taut like a fitted sheet.

Does anyone know anything like this?

Yes I have bought them at Walmart before all you do is lay the sheet down and the put them over it by hooking them to the matress on both sides they are realy easy and work realy well. Also I think you could sew some elastic in the corners or maybe bunch them up with some realy heavy thread.

you can use a rubber band. or ponytail band, or knot the corner if you have enough sheet.
