I've tried with special shampoos for oily hair, clarifying shampoos and delicate shampoos. They just don't seem to work! My hair used to NOT be like this.... What can I do???

I am 25 and also have the same problem. I stick to clarifying shampoo from the salon (I use kenra). Small amount of conditioner on only my ends and only every other time I wash, rinse very good. Blow dry (if I let it air dry it gets oilier.) Lastly, Do not use gel, mousse, creams, or anything that is heavy and thick. Since I have very long hair I can use a shine product. I only use it on my ends. I have to wash my hair mostly daily, but sometimes I can go every other day. You can take a multi vitamin too. Your hormones are probably changing, see your gynecologist if you notice other hormonal changes. Acne, sweating, weight loss or gain, bad breath or period changes. It may sound strange but are hormones are crazy and can change very easily. Good luck.

There are many products to use for oily hair, but go lite on the conditioner, maybe even a spray leave in, so you can put it only where you need it. Use very lite styling products. And I don't know if you touch your hair or face a lot through out the day, but keep your hands out of your hair. If you flip it around from one side to another or touch your face and then your hair that could be contributing to the oily hair. Try a normalizing shampoo, Matrix makes a very good one in their Biolage' line. Good luck!

I don't know if you use conditioner, but if you do, stop! Even if you completely rinse it out, it will make your hair look oily if you don't need it! My hair is like that too. I just have to wash it every day!
