There are many reasons for being religious I suppose. But I never was drawn to religion, I could never understand why people could believe with no proof. Today I think maybe that is all a lot of people have is belief. I have been blessed in a way, for today I know that to be true to the masses, I could not be true to life & truth.

People are drawn to religion because it provides them emotional colsolation when they don't have a logical answer to somthing.

Most find it intimidating to use logic and risk being wrong. Religion is designed to provide a type of immunity from that, even though it falls short. The peace of mind is disrupted easily. I don't see a problem with it, except that most people don't even try anymore. It's abused and used as an excuse to stifle one's self.

I don't and it beats me why anyone would choose to be, I guess most are indoctrinated or get inducted along the way by some form of religious propaganda they fall for, it's tragic.

Religions seem to want people to believe in someone else. I just believe in myself. That's my only religion.
