Political reason, not religious.
Something like America and USSR back in the cold war.

Mohammed, as an Arab, felt like a second class citizen compared to the Jews rich history, God, Temple and so on. So he created a religion of his own that would give dignity to his people and lands.
I don,t fault his motives.
And the clash begins!
As far as the Holy land... they are both wrong. Instead of the usual diatribe on God passing blessing from one to another consider this:
Lets say you own 100 titles or deeds or mortgages to different peaces of property. And you choose 1 people to give 1 title to and the other 99 you through up in the air and say Go! Fight for it. Is that fair? Is that not favoritism? Does God not favor?
The Land means nothing! Its simply a place of reference.
The spirit lives within and cannot be reduced to a partial peace of land. You have the whole Universe to live and grow in. Go were no spirit has gone before! 0 k I'm having fun now.
Peace....

No, it's actually because the Arab media reports every day that Jews (I'm sorry--the Joooooooos!) are nothing but pigs worthy of death.
There is no such thing as objectivity in Arab journalism, and people who have dared to report anything either pro-Israeli or anti-Islamic have been butchered in the streets.
So far, I've found four different sources with this same story, one Lebanese who worked in Jerusalem, one from CNN (a bureau chief), one Saudi doctor and an American free lancer who worked in Beirut.
Middle Eastern Muslims have been brainwashed from childhood (according to the Saudi doctor) to hate Jews and both the media and the clerics in the mosques reinforce the same irrational inhuman hatred.

Your question answers it very clearly by itself, It is true, they want people to be blind & try to make people think That the Promise given to Abraham is handed down to Ishmeal & not Isaacc, When in fact The promise is handed down from Abraham to Issacc, & not Ishmeal, Ishmeal was the son of the Bondwoman named Hajar, & Sarah even told Abraham due to the fact Ishmeal was causing so much trouble for Abraham to kick out Ishmeal from their house, & ever since that day that spirit gets on those Muslums, Arabs, Trying to twist God's word around, They claim to have the quran but little do they know how contrary to the bible their so call prophet was.

maybe what you are saying is true but would you care to give a reference?
Also should the Palestinians give up their land and go to self exile to solve the problem?
would you do it if you were in their shoe.
It is okay to invoke the Bible when you make the claim to the land but it is Terrorism to invoke the Quran?
look at this web site and see what REAL JEWS are saying

i think you are unaware of the injustices the Israeli military practices. the occupied Palestinians are facing oppression, murder, and abuse. you should do a little research.

This is not a question. You made a statement.
You could be right, but it is hard to understand the main question.

No, that's because politics want more money.
There aren't any religious reasons for that any more.
