We humans tend to talk about one's destiny or purpose in life as being something fulfilling. Could it not be possible that one's destiny or purpose in life is to be poor, or to have several misfortunes, or to be constantly unhappy and never able to reach desired goals.? Being optimistic feels good because it masks feelings of displeasure, but , perhaps there is sad truth that one's destiny is to never reach desired levels of happiness. Likewise, cannot one be born to carry negative energies (energies that harm others). EXample: cannot one be born as an Omen of unholy things , or as an angel of the Anti-Christ, or anything that is opposite of the typical structured religions?

Are we all born with some wonderful purpose to fulfill?

If there is good, then there must be evil. Each defines the other.

Not everyone is born with a wonderful pupose - most of you will live out rubbish lives taht don't affect anyone. If you really want to make history shoot a president and then flee to Iran - that's for the people with no hope.

Gandhi said - whatever job you do, it is important that you do it - i think its true, i think everyone who has lived has affected the world in someway - just maybe a few generations down the line, or by being a presence or example, or being part of an experienced that affect someone else etc etc

The destiny of all human beings is glorious and happy. We are created by the One True God as the most noble among all creatures.
The difference is only due to our use of our exclusive rational sense, our free will, our potential capabilities, our relation with the environment, our opportunities in training, and thousands of other good things within and without ourselves.
Yes, the purpose of our life is to become a happy human being in the spiritual image of the One True God.
All these things have been taught in details in various Holy Books of the Messengers of God.
