Fighting against bad things is also one of the Good values. Suppose if someone rapes Mr.X's mother, sister in front of him, kills his father and destoys his house before his eyes, how do you think Mr.X will react? First of all who will want to die in this world. Even 80 or 90 year old man will go to Hospital if he gets any sickness. Bcos he dont want to die. Still people tie bombs around their waists and die. Bcos they witnessed Injustice before their eyes. How to react? They dont know? They are helpless. So they decide to die. In Sri Lanka we had many human bombs, does Hinduism preach that? How Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi killed? By a Hindu who was well versed in Hinduism???
But today's Press is making a big show and propaganda against Muslims instead of seeking solutions for the problems. Each have their own selfish motive in this issue.

There are two aspects in all God concepts (Hinduism, Christianity etc)

1. Sprituality
2. Religion

Sprituality is the inner core or fruit and which is all about good values aiding union of Human and god, like Love is god etc. The spritual principles are same for all god concepts.

Religion is the outer core or skin of the fruit, which has been establised to take sprituality to innocent people. The religion concepts was establised based on habits and conduct of the particular area of the people keeping spritual principle in mind.

Slowly people forgot the fruit(Sprituality) and concentrating only on the skin (Religion).
This is the reason for all the violence happening around the world.

No doubt all religions teach good values but it is our duty to learn these things. What we have learnt from a religion is the most important. It depends upon what we have been taught. How the concept of relegion has occupied our mind. Our way of thinking determines our behaviour.

Practicing violence either by terrorists or by democratically elected govts. through Army/ Police, is one and the same thing.
But some how we find it convenient to ignore when the latter are involved.

Bringing others to justice, without offering himself for judgement is an act of violence as in the case of President Bush. But ultra civilised American society will prefer to be hypo about it!

No one should propagate violence in the name of religion. We should try to agree on the universal characteristics of all religions, and allow individuals to supply their own personal beliefs without fear of persecution or unwelcome proselytizing.

It is not the religion, nor the holy books nor the gods whom we should fear. We should fear the priests who misinterpret the holy books and urge the people to war and violence, in the name of religion

only 2 kinds of evils would do this kind of thing.

1. someone who twists the words and wants to mislead his followers.

2. someone who listens to him and believes it to be true, or wants to believe it to be true. sometimes they get brainwashed.

whatever happens, the religion should not be the one to blame unless if the religion commands its followers to do crimes like that.
