Don't you ever watch product ads? They always have testimonies of "how it worked for me". They have before and after pictures, but in the aftermath they are proud to show how they look. Shouldn't Christians be the same way? Shouldn't they be eager to say, "Look at my life, see how Christ has worked for me, because I know he can work for you too"

So many, though, say, by what they do "Accept Christ. Meanwhile I am still sinning, but don't worry about that. You should try Christ"

If you want people to accept Christ, shouldn't you first be eager to show people that he worked for you and changed you?

"Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visists us" 1 Peter 2:12

Good point.

But I am more interested in how you replaced the usual "Gentile" with the more accurate "pagan." They should do that throughout the New Testament - it is a more accurate term, and reveals the true Christian doctrines regarding Hellenistic paganism (i.e. there is neither Jew nor pagan in Christ, the pagans have the law of God written on their hearts, the pagans know God and comprehend his power and divinity, etc.)

Because all of Christianity is just as Jesus said - the blind leading the blind.

Christians are being taught by pastors, preachers and scholars that truly dont know what they are talking about. And if they have no idea, how can they teach anything to a Christian? Jesus said that by someone's fruits you would know them. When asked about Christian fruit, how can there be any when the leadership doesn't even teach Christians what is sin.

Today's Christian fruit is adultry and sodomy. Is that what Jesus taught? Its asked "What Would Jesus Do?" - this is meant to question one's actions as to whether Jesus would do the same actions.

Would Jesus commit adultry?
Would Jesus commit sodomy?
Then why are Christians doing it.

Christians don't want to be judged as Christians because they know their leadership is useless and what they've been taught is taking them in the wrong direction - but they are powerless to stop it. Why? Because they don't know anywhere else to turn.

The ones they should turn to would be the prophets of God, but Christians can't recognize one even if one was standing in front of them. Again, poor teaching.

So, Christians plod forward without any leadership. And what teachings they can remember, they try to apply to their lives yet it is incomplete. Because of this, even when living among pagans, you cant tell one from the other.

If Christians wish to find the prophets of God, scripture teaches how to recognize one. To help know what is Not a prophet of God, here's a small list....

Billy Graham
Benny Hinn
Rod Parsley
Perry Stone
T.D. Jakes
Joyce Meyer
Creflo Dollar
John Hagee
Kenneth Copeland
Jack Van-Impe
Jesse Duplantis.....

All these and those like them are blind, knowing very little of God or His ways. And with these blind men leading Christians - then history repeats itself when the blind leads the blind.

To be a true Christian one has to lead a Christ-like life. This is extremely difficult to do, so I feel that those of us who aspire to be more Christ-like are striving to live life by the high road in order to achieve our goal. Unfortunately no one is perfect & we all backslide a bit. Those out there professing to be Christian & yet leading a sinful life are not fooling anyone but theirselves.

Dear Friend,

We do tell people how Christ has worked, not just in our lives but also in the lives of those whom he has changed.

Jesus taught us that we should not judge one another:

Matthew 7
Judging Others
1"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

So friend, Christians speak of the Good news of the Christ every day, but we do not judge others or eachother. All Christians acknowledge that until our Lord Jesus returns in his heavenly glory that we are all inherently sinful, but we try to hold one another up, as we are all part of the body of Christ. I hope this answers your question

God Bless

Because "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." It starts with the first sin of our lives and continues until the day we die. The harder one tries to be "perfect", the harder that person will fall. We, as sinners and therefore imperfect, are saved by His grace. That's the only way I can deal with the person I am. I am not in the business of judging others. That's up to God.

Don't you know?

The only people who have to live by christian rules are the non-christians. The godbots can by hypochristians all they like and then "pray for forgiveness". That's why they don't follow their own rules.

I do want to be judged by what I do. The Bible says that we will be known be our fruits. A true Christian will not have anything to hide.

I believe the bible says ,"By they're works you shall know them." Take that for whatever it is worth.

Personally, I don't care who judges me or why.

I'm convinced that I've earned every bit of my reputation (for better or worse).
