I would say there are a few that come to mind:
Romantic love - as in being in love with someone
Fraternal love - between siblings or close friends
Parental /Familial love - within a family, from parent to child etc
Self-love - pretty self explanatory
True love - deep and intimate romantic love although may be considered similar to romantic love
Companionship love - perhaps after romantic love has waned and a relationship (ie. married) becomes more about companionship
Love of an object or activity - this is more like strong like, as in 'loving football'

I don't know if this answers your question, but these are what I would consider to be 'kinds of love'

i think that you can have a different type of love for every single person in your life...i mean you are never gonna love two people the exact same way, no two people will ever mean the same thing to you...i don't really think there is like a certan number of types of love...you can never truly explain love...you just feel it!
