Irritates, that's an interesting word to use, I guess that cuts out the kind of crimes that incense me. What irritates me most is the fact that the Police have to spend ridiculous amounts of time filling in forms and not being able to attend call outs til that's done. Each shift should have a secretary, obviously trained in the role, not just a temp. They should be able to dictate their report and leave it to be typed up, much less time taken, even when you include checking it. That way they would have more time to be out dealing with crime, being a presence on the streets, following up on hunches etc.

It's the high crime of US govt derelect on keeping it's citizens safe and now also jeopardizing SSI by overspending and pampering illegals while hinting at SSI possible shortage. This IS NOT what the Constitution is all about. The people used to have a say but now might get in trouble for speaking out for concerns of rights.

Yup, doesn't make sense that all that time and money is spent to arrest an idiot just to let them go with a slap on the wrist. Not saying is should be legalized, it should be standardized. ANYONE regardless of age, race or income should get jail time.

The crime that makes me the most angry is any that involve the abuse of children. As far as I'm concerned the guilty party should have certain anatomy either cut off or sewn up.

I would say that is the crime right there. The revolving door. The crime I am thinking of actually is the 3 strikes law. That is criminal in the sweeping way it is applied.

A starving single mom steals a loaf of bread for her child and it is her third charge. She did two things 18 years ago and had been straight ever since. She gets life and her children go into foster care thereby risking abuse and neglect as well as costing a fortune. Not to mention the cost of Mom in jail forever.

A career criminal FINALLY gets caught after 2 murders, a few rapes, and robberies...and he gets the same life time jail sentence. He is a nasty nasty dude.

To me that is criminal.

But as for something that is truly against the law. I would say corporate criminals who steal entire pensions and savings of so many people. And because they are connected, they often move to another country leaving behind thousands of victims facing poverty. The stolen money? In an offshore bank.

Criminal.

~What irritates me most, is the Police Officers that get away with crimes like hurting people, even killing people and getting away with it!
Justice should NOT be in the hands of the Police, it's for the judge or jury.
I know a former Police Officer and even he says he doesn't understand young Policeman these days, they have a God like complex.~

Most criminals do get out of jail/prison. Their anti-social behavior gets them in there in the first place.

The biggest crime is the non-treatment of children and young adults who exhibit anti-social behavior in the first place. Lack of psychiatric health care is the most irritating crime we face in criminology.

All crimes, its the justise system that is the problem, One crime against a child, then they should get life, if you murder someone, then you get death, with 2 appeals.
