Well that depends...i've got the same text from a guy too...my reaction was like her...i dont know about her but me..im the kind of person who likes to make friends so im happy to receive the text and be friends as for your friends if she's the same then u've got the answer if not then the girl is just being nice

If you told her you were too shy to approach her, I can see her noticing. But you want to make sure, call her, talk to her, ask her about her day...within a few weeks you will be able to tell her more about how you really like her.

You don't have to be a girl to tell that she is interested in getting to know you better, so you are off to a good start. Don't try to read any more or less than that into it.

You asked her about school stuff, expect to have an answer regarding that (duh). She may think that you like her. But she may or may not like you as much as you like her since she didn't ask you where you got her number. I'm just presuming here because I lack information.
