If you're asking if you should eat meat, yes or at least some dairy or egg product. We need certain amino acids vegetables can't provide. Meat also provide protein in a more digestable form. It's very important when you are not fully developed to eat these amino acid. I met a girl once who hates meat. SHe went vegan for a while and constantly got sick. Now she eats steak every once in a while. SHe told me she still hate the oily feel of steak, but she doesn't get sick anymore. I believe she lacked the necessay amino acids to develop immunoglobulins properly. If you want to stay a vegetarian, be very careful to make sure you get the full range of amino acids. Vegans tell me there is a way, but they are always ellusive when I ask. I still think its healthy even if they tell the truth, but there is a lot we don't know about nutrition, and there are probably a lot of micronutrients that is hard to balance out when you don't consume some sort of meat product. Vegetarianism is not a health choice, but more of a moral choice.

Yes, humans should consume non-vegetarian foods. At the very least, there's no scientific reason not to.

When scientists look at animals, they can tell basically what the animal eats by looking at the teeth. Humans have canines. We were designed to eat meat. That's not all we were designed to eat, and as you can obviously tell, we can live a relatively healthy life without meat, but it requires special attention to your diet to make sure you're getting all the nutrients you need. Scientifically, and from an evolutionary point of view, we can and should eat meat.

If, however, you don't want to, I'm assuming vegetarianism hasn't affected your health thus far, then I see no reason to eat meat if you don't like it. You clearly know how to regulate your diet to keep it balanced despite the lack of meat, so, while people in general are made to eat meat, I see no need to force yourself to.

Vegetarian. I even have yet to be sure everybody consume meat in hassle-free terms cooked. the flavour is interior the seasonings and the type you prepare dinner it. There are substitutes that have an analogous texture as any animal. And a minimum of by utilising sticking to a vegetarian weight loss software your well-being is bigger. (thinking the certainty that pork would not digest on your abdomen and the certainty that the animals stay in undesirable situations being drugged on a persevering with bases to easily shop them alive that's what you're ingesting.) and you will nevertheless have that baked chikn or despite without killing an animal.

Humans are omnivarians by nature whereas most animals are either carnivores or herbivores (they have no choice), therefore the decision to go to either one extreme or the other (steak & potatos or hummus & soy milk) is simply a personal choice.

What the general concensus is on dietary habits seems to always be ruled by socioeconomic factors and cultural tastes and maybe that's more what you're asking?

For health reasons, I would suggest that one sticks to being a vegetarian - or atleast most of the time. However, its no crime to have meat a little less than often.

I've just become Vegetarian, for health reasons mostly.
It's been only a month or so, but I really do feel better, function better, and have fewer digestive problems.
For me, it is a good decision.
I can't speak for anyone else, including my kids, who do not enjoy being without meat.

I believe it's bad karma to kill animals. Karma doesn't have anything to do with religion, it's a concept.

So I'm a vegetarian.
