This seems to be a matter of debate. Imams and the Minerets are constantly ringing out with "kill the Jews, kill the Americans", yet in Western nations Muslims are constantly saying that these terror-mad Islamics aren't Islamic at all.

I think the current score is about 1 billion against terrorism to 0.5 billion in favor of.

At my last count, there were the following organized terror groups around the world:

22 active and funded Muslim terrorist organizations
19 active Muslim fund raising groups supporting terrorism
3 active Muslim groups educating children to be martyrs
39 active Muslim organizatinos on the State Department's Terrorist Exclusion List

(This is by no means a complete list. I've likely tracked down the names of less than half of active Muslim terror organizations.)

These are not boy scout groups or bowling leagues.

These are groups of men who buy the best weapons they can get, offer professional military training, study enemy weaknesses, follow global politics, and market themselves like corporations.

They are without doubt the greatest threat to world peace on the planet.

Insane ones. Propagandists like to take verses in the Quran and twist them out of context to say islam encourages the murder of innocent nonmuslims. This is not true in any way, shape or form. Even in war, a muslim can not strike even the fruit bearing tree that is the property of a non muslim. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prohibited the killing of innocent women and children after finding that a woman had been killed and thrown in a ditch. There is so much information that many don't know and refuse to even look at because they've made their minds up. It's so sad that in 2007, religious tolerance and the internet still do little to further humanity to a place where we can all live harmoniously.

Islam never teaches hatred toward anything or anybody,and Islam never allows kiling of anybody either Muslim or non-Muslim unless its for self defence ,its a big lie to say that Islam orders the kiling of a human just cause he is not Muslim,
thats what our religion say about that:

[22:39] Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is made because they are oppressed, and most surely Allah is well able to assist them;

However, even though the Creator has clearly specified that no other way of life is acceptable to Him except Islam (i.e. submission to Him as embodied in the Qur'an and Sunnah), He has also commanded the Muslims to be tolerant of people who espouse other creeds. From the Sunnah, specifically in the study of the Sunnah called Al-Awsat by Al-Tabarani, we find regarding those non-Muslims living in the Islamic state,

The Messenger of Allah (saas) said, "One who kills a non-Muslim person under protection (Arabic: dhimmi) will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise."
Also from the Sunnah, specifically in a report from Al-Khatib, we find that the Messenger of Allah (saas) also said:

Whoever hurts a non-Muslim person under protection, I am his adversary, and I shall be an adversary to him on the Day of Resurrection.
In short, Islam is intolerant of false ideas, however it is tolerant of the people who hold to those ideas. One historical example of Muslims living up to the standard of Islam can be found from the time of the Spanish Inquisition. During that disaster sprung by misguided Catholics, some Spanish Jews fled to Muslim Turkey and to this day, there is a community of Spanish-speaking Jews in Turkey. Another example may be found during one of the Crusader invasions from Western Europe. Some of the the Catholic Western European knights were so likely to rape, murder, and pillage the Jews and Orthodox Christians, that when the Muslims won, they were treated as a liberating force by those non-Muslims.

The Qu'ran specifies to kill ALL "infidels", with special emphasis placed on Jews and Christians. ( "People of the Book" ) There are no exceptions. ANY person who does not believe in Islam, are to die. The Qu'ran is very clear on that.

Have you ever heard Muslims when they are spewing their venom against Jews and Christians? They scream against the "Zionists" and the "Crusaders"? Perfect example.

Do you remember a Muslim attack years ago aboard the Italian ocean liner "Achille Lauro"? The took a crippled Jewish man, in a wheelchair, shot him in the head in front of his wife, and threw him overboard. The man did nothing. His crime against Islam? He was a Jew. Nothing more. Does the Qu'ran teach hatred? You betcha!

Just review the terror attacks on Christians and Jews since the '70's, and your question will be answered.
