Yes, people are influenced by each other- at least where I live, people always use the term "You can never change a man" in the stereotypical scenario in which a woman settles down with a man and attempts to mold him into a person SHE wants HIM to be instead of a relationship where two compatible individuals thrive. Yes, women can't be changed like this either but that's another question right there!

Ok.. What's wrong with this picture?
Why do you WANT to change men? I mean, there are thousands out there? You looking in the wrong places? (I’m gonna stereotype so bare with me.) You want a guy that looks like hunk but want him to spend less time at the gym? How do you think he got to be a hunk? You want a guy with money then expect him to spend less time at the office?
Why can’t men change women? I mean, really… All they do is look for the guys that are rich and /or handsome then try to MOLD them into what they want..
Sorry… But prince charming was a made up story and no, you are not going to find an ugly beast with wealth and one day turn him into a gorgeous hunk..
That also goes for the guys… You’re not going to find Snow White in a bar downing margaritas….
No, Your not going to CHANGE men. Just confuse the Heck out of them....

Men also have their own personality like us women. Nobody wants to change herself or himself for the world. Not only men are hard to change but women also. You say men can't be changed perhaps because you have suffered a number of times from various men. But you don't think that even you have not changed from the past because you do the same thing time and again.....

Yes Hunnie. You can't change men. You can't change anyone, for that matter. The only person you can change is yourself. By deciding to change. Not by being "scared" or threatened in-to change. You can threaten a person to change his ways, and he may concur because he either loves you or can't risk losing what you give him. However, they'd go back to their old ways when the eye of "authority" ;) is removed or when what you have to give isn't worth giving anything up for anymore. Which is why you should decide if you can live with their "defect", or live without them. Change yourself so to say. Coz that's the only person you can change ;).

Can you say "gross oversimplification"? History has proven that women have made enormous, positive changes to men. I'd like to think that both sexes are still undergoing changes for the more sophisticated and that the perception gap is narrowing - not sure yet if that's all good though. Interaction changes everyone, only foolish people remain unaltered from their experiences.

Human nature plays a key role. Times change, people change, but human nature remains the same. Men are men. We are going to be a combination of breadwinners, competitors, stubborn $%ses and sex-crazed.

no, you women will change men..and usually for the worst.
the men will lose the stud ness part of them after a long relationship and when the man is reduced to being a wimp you will say "you are not the man i married"! and you are right..
women marry men and hope to change them
men marry men and hope they never change..
